PS-BATTEN LED batten with built-in microwave sensor

PS-BATTEN is a 1.5 m sensor batten for car parks, stairwells, corridors, plant rooms and stores. A built-in microwave sensor switches the light on when people arrive and dims it back when the area is empty, so lights only run at full output when needed. The aluminium body and milky PC diffuser are sealed to IP65.

Light only when people are there

In car parks, stairwells and back of house areas people pass through for a few seconds at a time. PS-BATTEN detects movement through its diffuser, comes on at full output, holds for the set time and then steps down to a low stand-by level, cutting energy use without leaving anyone in the dark.

Microwave sensing

A 5.8 GHz microwave sensor is built in behind the diffuser. It detects movement through the housing, so there is no visible sensor head.

Adjustable settings

Detection area 25 to 100%, hold time 5 s to 30 min, stand-by level 25, 35 or 50% and stand-by period 0 s to permanent.

Energy saving

Full light only when the area is occupied, with step dimming in between. Up to 140 lm/W from the 60 W model.

IP65 aluminium

Aluminium housing with a milky PC diffuser, sealed to IP65 against dust and water jets for car parks and plant rooms.

Clean power

Flicker-free driver with THD <15% and power factor >0.9, for 200 to 240 V AC supplies.

Quick to fit

Surface mounting clips included and a single-ended 0.5 m pre-fitted cable for a simple one-end connection.
